With over 13 years of experience in the construction field, Alejandro Montenegro brings specialized expertise and a progressive approach to the Pre-Construction Manager role at NPI. Prior to joining the team, Alejandro worked for two general contractors in South Florida in various leadership roles including Project Engineer, Safety Manager, and most recently, Project Manager. Within these roles, he was directly involved in the management of $358 million worth of construction projects.
Alejandro has diversified field experience having worked on projects including multifamily units, hotel developments, low-income housing, historical renovations, and office projects. It is with this broad knowledge base that Alejandro is strategically positioned within the firm to manage multiple development opportunities and all aspects that relate to pre-construction including budgeting, due diligence, project analysis, and evaluation.
Alejandro is a versatile, adaptive, and team-oriented manager who leverages the leadership skills he developed through progressive roles in construction, logistics, and the military to guide the pre-construction process.
Alejandro earned his B.A. from the University of Phoenix, and his M.B.A. from the University of Miami. He is also a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served from 2000 to 2004.
